This program aims to train devoted and idealistic teachers who can provide quality education to individuals in need of special education and who can provide the training and coordination support necessary for the integration of individuals with special needs into society. The Special Education Department was established in 2005-2006 academic year. Since 2009, we  have had totally 211 undergraduate alumni who are currently working as a special education teacher  in private and public special education schools and, as a researcher in public universities. 2 assistant  professors, 2 instructor and 5 research assistants are currently working in the department.
